Talon R. Burton is the founder and Director of Talon Investigative Services. Mr. Burton brings over 20 years experience in conducting criminal investigations, law enforcement and security services.  Mr. Burton is a veteran of the U.S. Army, (serving in Desert Storm as a military policeman). He is also a former Narcotics Special Agent with the Illinois State Police, and a Police Chief.  Mr. Burton has also served from 2004 to 2008 in Iraq, where he lead several High Threat Dignitary Protection Details. 
   
 
Company history
Talon Investigative Services is a fully State licensed and insured Private Detective Agency, and was initally founded in 2002 in the Danville, Illinois area.  We moved to Taylorville, Illinois in 2003, to be better situated in Central Illinois, 20 miles from the State Capitol of Springfield.
